All the Scouts Canada Cub Book Star, Badge and Award requirements are
contained in these linked web pages. After each is the code that I use
so that I don't have to keep writing out the name in its longest form
each time. In addition, each badge requirement has linked to it
information that can be found on this website or on the internet. This
information can be used by Cubs or Leaders to assist in finding material
necessary to fulfill, or assist in showing, some of the badge
requirements. The links suggested have been made at the discretion of
the webmaster. Please contact me
if you know of web pages or sites that better reflect the badge
requirements.
Note that there is a number of badge cross-references included in each
section. These are not necessarily equivalencies (I leave that up to
your interpretation.) There are similar or related requirements however.
And as this is a work in progress, changes are being made constantly.
If you find a mistake, or a connection that you think should be there,
please let me know.
Check the Wolf Cub Uniform webpage for
placement of the badges, awards and stars.
Cubs should check off and date badge requirements as they are met in
their own Cub Book. After all requirements are met they should contact
a leader at the next regular meeting. Cubs will then be tested by a
leader or other qualified person for the knowledge and skills that
they should have acquired while earning the badge, if the Cub created
or made anything while earning the badge they should bring it at the
same time as they bring their form. Once they have passed they will be
presented with their badge at the next earliest opportunity.
In the event of a discrepency between the badge requirements listed
here and the badge requirements as listed in the most recent edition
of the Cub Book, the Cub Book is ALWAYS right.
Badges and awards are sorted by activity area (stars) as they appear
in the Cub Book.
