Welcome to the 1st Port Moody Ventures Home Page! We are a Company of 4 Ventures, and 1 Advisor following the Scouts Canada Venture program. Our Company is located in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada.
A Typical Year, Typical Meeting
A Scout year parallels the school year, starting in September and generally finishing up by June. Ventures attend regular meetings as well as other special events and activities throughout the year. These extra events consist of hikes, weekend camping trips, field trips, and community service.
Meetings
Our regular meetings are held Mondays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Port Moody Scout Hall (195 Esplanade Avenue, Port Moody).
Other Events
We participate in a number of events hosted by the various levels of the organization – B.P. Night Hike, Jamborees, etc. These are often fundraisers as well. We will often have special events as part of our schedule, including visits to museums, parks, and meetings with special visitors. There may be activity fees associated with some of these events. If at any time the cost of an activity is an issue, let a leader know. We will always try to subsidize activities to ensure that everyone benefits equally.

The 1st Port Moody Link Camp will be held at Camp Byng on the weekend of April 11-13, 2008. For details check with the leaders of your section.
