These references will help you understand BSA activities and help you plan and develop your leadership capability. These are helpful for the boys to help plan out a camping trip or run a meeting. The adult references can also help you prepare for your Board of Review. For the adults that are not that familiar with Boy Scouts, these documents will help you understand BSA expectations and help you advise/mentor the youth in the patrols as they develop their leadership skills.

Youth Protection Training
The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) requires that our leaders take the Youth Protection Training that is offered via the internet and must be repeated every two years.

Since we are sponsored by St. Clare Catholic Church of the Belleville Diocese, we are obligated to take the Belleville Diocese Youth Protection Training which must be renewed annually. Please check the schedule at St Clare School web site and click on the 'INITIAL CHILD PROTECTION TRAINING' or 'CHILD PROTECTION REFRESHER COURSE' links for a location and time that is convenient for you. The initial course is two hours and the refresher course is one hour.
