Arbor Day Tree Planting/Trash Pick-up
Blackwater Conservation Area (corner of Hooper and Blackwater Road)

• Attending this event counts toward your rank’s conservation/service project requirement and the Leave No Trace Award service project requirement.
• NEED TO BRING: Water bottle/canteen, High-energy snacks/sack lunch, Boots, Shovel, Work gloves, Warm clothes/jacket/hat/poncho

A&P Airpark - Slaughter, LA
Saturday, January 29, 10:00am - 1:00pm
• Scouts will learn all about the Piper Tri Pacer airplane and will be able to watch it take-off and land.
• Bring snacks/drinks/picnic lunch
• Meet at Blackwater parking lot for caravan at 9:15 am, to depart promptly at 9:30. Or, meet us there for 10am.

• Fine-tune your car for the race! Work on your weight, wheels and axles.
• Cars ready to race can be checked-in. Once checked-in, no more modifications will be allowed.
• NO WET PAINT PLEASE! We recommend having all painting completed by Sunday, Jan 30th.

• Cars must be checked-in NO LATER THAN 8:00am Saturday morning! Race starts promptly at 9am.
• Please check-in your car Friday night at the pit-stop if possible.
• Scouts do not need to be present for their car to race.

• Scouts wearing Troop/Pack Shirt or Scout uniform get FREE admission!
• Skate Rental: $3 for Quads or Roller Blades, Laser Tag $5 a game, Rock Wall $4 a climb.

Pack 13 Service Projects!!!
Pack 13 always has an ongoing service project. This is a great opportunity for our boys to develop character by helping others and contributing to the community.
- Save Aluminum Cans!!! Bring your aluminum cans (preferably already crushed) to any meeting.
