Since the founding of the Boy Scouts of America in 1910, the uniform has been an important part of the Scouting program. When all Scouts wear the uniform, the Troop looks real sharp. All members of Troop 87 are expected to own a uniform and to wear it proudly, to all Scout meetings and activities. (unless specified otherwise)
Troop 87’s approved uniform consists of:

Scouts are encouraged, but not required, to have Scout Trousers (BSA Cat. No.A582/A583) and/or Scout Shorts (BSA Cat. No. A5 84). No Camouflage pants!! Some type of green pants must be worn.
