Activity Badge Fun: 
Make a map of the US showing the types of forest growing in different parts of the country. Name some kinds of trees that grow in these forests. (Forester # 1)
Identify six forest trees common to our area - tell how both wildlife and humans use them. (Forester # 3)
Identify six forest plants (other than trees) that are useful to wildlife - tell which animals use them and what for. (Forester # 4)
Draw a picture showing a tree's growth rings; describe how the tell the tree's life history. (Forester # 6)
Collect pieces of three kinds of wood used to build houses. Tell what they are and one place each might be used. (Forester # 7)
