 | Anyone in the Pack who learns about a prospective new Scout should:
 | Contact the Committee Chair or Cubmaster to determine which Den the
new Scout would be in |
 | Contact the Den Leader and give them the prospective Scout's contact
information (name, phone number, address, etc.) |

 | Den Leader should:
 | Contact the prospective Scout's parents/guardians to introduce themselves and
invite the prospective Scout to join the Pack |
 | If the prospective Scout wants to join, deliver a "Parent
Information Packet" to the prospective Scout's parents.
The packet contains:

 | Invite the prospective Scout & his family to the next Den Meeting and Pack Meeting
 | Contact them a day or two before to remind them of the meetings |
 | Act as their host at the Pack Meeting |

 | Instruct the new Scout's Parent / Guardian to:
 | Fill out and sign the Cub Scout Application form (confirm the
prorated amount for pack dues with the Committee Chair or Cubmaster) |
 | Fill out and sign the Pack 30 Parental Internet Release Form |
 | Return the forms & Pack Dues to the Den Leader |

 | Turn in the forms & money:
 | Pack Dues (money) go the Pack Treasurer
|
 | Completed application form goes to the Cubmaster |
 | Completed internet release form goes to the Webmaster |
 | If the new Scout was "recruited" by an existing Scout,
turn in the "Recruiter Badge" for them as part of the
normal awards reporting (or ask their Den Leader to do it) |

 | Cubmaster should:
 | Sign the application & deliver it to the Council Office
 | Pay Council Dues
- if paying by check, fill it out at the Council Office (after they
confirm the amount due)
- turn in a reimbursement form to the Treasurer |

 | Add the new Scout to the Pack Roster |
 | Forward copies of the application to:
 | Membership Chair, to be entered into Pack Master |
 | Back to the Den Leader, for their records |
|
|
 | Webmaster should:
 | Review and file the completed internet release form |
|
|
