(LOE) Leader Outdoor Experience (LOE) is a supplemental training course for all leaders involved in the Cub Scout program. LOE is held four times yearly (two courses are held in the spring and two in the fall). Each spring and fall a course is held at Beaumont Scout Reservation and the second spring course is held at Pine Ridge Scout Camp and the second fall course is held at Camp Lewallen. LOE begins on Saturday morning at 8:00 am and ends on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 pm. Leaders will be provided with 3 meals and a snack (a special "Cracker Barrel" will be held on Saturday evening). Upon completion of the course leaders will receive a patch and participation card and a lot of take home projects. Webelos leaders are required to have this course in order to receive their Webelos leader recognition knot.
This weekend of training will be very informative and everyone will leave with information to pass along to others and provide you with ideas to build a strong quality program for all ages of Cub Scouts.
