May - Pack Graduation
  • Coordinator: Cubmaster & Asst. Cubmaster
  • Logistics (2007)
    • Tuesday, May 22nd, 7:00 – 9:00 PM
    • Fairmount Cafeteria
  • Preparation Required
    • If we don’t have the Cafeteria on our normal Pack Meeting night, reserve the Cafeteria or Multi-Purpose Room (new gym) through the Fairmount Office (fill out a Building Use Form)
    • Order give-a-ways for the boys, if applicable (so they can exchange their Cubmaster Tokens for prizes)
    • Complete the agenda for the event.
    • Confirm with the Awards Chair the number of Neckerchiefs that need to be purchased.
    • Update the “pack_calendar.htm” page on the Pack 30 Website
  • Agenda
    • Cubmaster & Asst. Cubmaster to complete the agenda; review the previous year(s) for examples.
  • Support Materials
    • Flags (US, State, Pack) & Stands
    • Use chairs & tables in the gym or cafeteria.
    • Bridge from Scout Storage Shed
  • Supplies
    • New Neckerchiefs (pack supplies the boy’s next year Neckerchief)
    • Give-a-Ways (in exchange for the Cubmaster Tokens, if used that year)
    • Arrow Head Neckerchief Slides (as a token of working toward the Arrow of Light) for new Webelos II’s, since they don’t get a new Neckerchief.
  • Costs
    • Neckerchiefs = $240 Budgeted
    • Give-a-Ways = $36 ($1 per boy) – Pack Meeting Expenses Budget
  • Notes
    • Check the Building Use Form at the beginning of the new school year (August) to see if we have the Cafeteria on the normal Pack Meeting night (4th Tuesday of May) – if so, we can use the Cafeteria and don’t have to reserve another room.
