Please contact a member of the Committee or email if you are interested in participating in the Cub Scouting program. Pack 406 welcomes all new Scouts for the 2007-2008 program year!!! Pack Meeting The last Tuesday of the month during the school year at 6:00pm, at the Mt. Carmel UMC Fellowship building. Parents should attend with their Cub Scouts. All are welcome, featuring skits, awards, refreshments, and fellowship. Cub Scouting rounds a boy out. Join the activites and the fellowship! DISTRICT ROUNDTABLE Fremont Hayes United Methodist Church 2nd Tuesday of every month, 7:00 PM. Open to all Den Leaders, Committee Members, Troop Officers. Troop 406's Scheduled events!!! Boy Scout Troop 406, Activities Plan The Patrol Leaders Council of Troop 406 holds an Annual Planning conference for the Scouting Year. At this conference the events are planned for next year. Following approval of the Troop Committee for these events, the arrangement of transportation and Adult Leadership, the Council requests that we do not have Troop Meetings the Monday following a campout. Instead we will have a P. L. C. Conference from 6:30-7:30pm followed by a Troop Committee Meeting with the P.L.C. invited from 7:30-8:30 pm. A Board of Review will be held during the P.L.C. Conference by the Troop Committee for any Scout needing one. The Troop 406 Committee Meetings are the 3rd Monday of the month, 7:00pm at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, during the regular meeting. The committee usually meets briefly every Monday evening depending on participation, but full scheduled committee meetings are for the 3rd Monday of each month. ***Summer Camp*** Pioneer Scout Reservation This is a great camp where a Scout will be put to the test. Activities are scheduled throughout the week. Many Merit badges are available at Camp Pioneer. The Camp is located on the Ohio/Michigan/Indiana border. It has 3 large lakes, a swimming pool, hiking trails, rile and archery range, a dining hall, medical facilities, and features tent camping. Any Scout interested in attending Summer Camp at Pioneer, please contact the Scoutmaster. Camp Alaska is held every year, be prepared! Check out the link on the main homepage for winter camping information. Eagle Bay Klondike Derby: The klondike derby is held at Camp Miakonda in Toledo, Ohio. This camp-out is emphasizing First Aid, Engineering, Lashings, Astronomy, and more scouting skills. Scout Sunday is the first Sunday in Febuary. Please wear your full uniform to church that day. Services will be attended at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church by Troop 406 Scouters and their families. Services begin at 10:00am. A Scout is reverent.
