If you are between the ages of 7 and 11 years of age, then you can join the Cub Scouts. If you are 11 years old then you must join the Boy Scouts.
Most Scouting groups are supported by their institutional sponser. The Institutional Representative is assigned by the sponsor and acts as a liason between the sponsor and the Scouting Unit.
Pack 406 and Troop 406 are sponsered by the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. The Pack Meets once a month for a Pack meeting. Den meetings are held once a week, whenever we do not have a Pack Meeting. We run the program during the school year weekly, then switch to once a month during the summer. A child may not sign-up with out parental consent. All of the committee has been trained through the Erie Shores Council.
Troop 406 meets every Monday night at 7:00pm at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. They also have a campout at least once a month.
