FUNDRAISING — Ben Jackson reported:

Scouts Honor Card: Access Tech (www.scoutshonorcard.com) Ben explained in detail how the card works. One year "membership" for over a thousand local and national discounts. A deposit of $50.00 is required to acquire 150 cards of which Troop is obligated to sell _ (75 cards). When Troop sells their obligated 75 cards, deposit is refunded. Cards are purchased for $20.00 and $8.00 goes to Access Tech and Troop would make $12.00 / card.

Wawa Shorty Hoagie sales: Troop pays #2.50 /coupon and sells coupons for $3.50, thus troop would make $1.00/coupon.

Committee in agreement, but must discuss with both members who were absent before making a final decision.

Ben also mentioned the need to update the plaques and awards around the cabin as incentive for current Scouts.

OLD BUSINESS / NEW BUSINESS

Kelly Vining reported that the Oxford Fire Hall would like to give away their old sign, which our troop would be happy to accept. Mark Vining will look into the transfer of equipment.

On a motion by Jim George, seconded by Committee, the meeting was adjourned @ 8:40 p.m. by a unanimous vote.

Next meeting will be held on Tuesday February 24th, 2009 @ 7:00 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
Becky George
